Your custom app doesn't retain login credentials?
Fix a custom app that shows the login page every time by setting the address it uses once you're signed in.
You added a custom app, signed in, and the next time Rambox starts it shows the login page again.
Likely causes
- The app's address points to the login page. Custom apps open the URL you typed when you added them. If that's the login page (or a homepage that always shows the login form), you see it every time, even though you're still signed in.
- The service doesn't keep you signed in. Some services sign you out when the window closes, just like in a browser.
- The app uses the Incognito profile, which doesn't save anything between sessions.
How to fix it
1. Set the signed-in page as the app's address
- Open the custom app and sign in.
- Go to the page you normally use once signed in (for example, your inbox or dashboard).
- Right-click an empty area of the page and choose Set current URL as app's default.
From now on, the app opens on that page.
TIP
You can also edit the address by hand: right-click the app in the sidebar, click the cog (Settings) and change its URL. See Adding custom apps.
2. Check the service in your browser
Sign in to the same service in Chrome, Firefox or Safari, close the browser and open it again. If it asks you to sign in again there too, the service doesn't keep sessions, and Rambox can't change that. Look for a "Remember me" or "Keep me signed in" option on its login page.
3. Check the app's profile
Right-click the app in the sidebar, click the cog (Settings) and look at Profile. If it says Incognito, choose another profile and click Save. See Profiles.
