Quick Search is an easy way to move between apps in Rambox. With this feature, you can easily access any app, section, or even emails, chats, or documents (not available for all apps) anywhere in Rambox by typing its name. This is perfect if you have lots of apps organized into countless workspaces.

You can access this feature anywhere inside Rambox by clicking on the magnifying glass located in the App bar, or through its shortcuts:

Windows/Linux: ALT + SHIFT + K or CTRL + SHIFT + SPACE.

Mac: Cmd + ALT + K or Cmd + SHIFT + SPACE.

How to use

When you open the Quick Search, it will show you the apps with the most recent notifications first, followed by those with badges (except for the active one).

Once you are located in the Quick Search window, you can use Tab or the Up/Down keys to select the app that you are looking for and press Enter (if it's the first one, just press Enter), or just click on the app, and Rambox will lead you to that app. (This also applies to sections, or even emails, chats, or documents).

If the app, section, or document that you are searching for is not on the list, all you have to do is start typing some letters of its name and new suggestions will appear.

But that's not all, you can also perform a search on Google from the Quick Search window! Just start typing the terms of your search and press the shortcut Ctr + E on Windows or Cmd + E on Mac, and a new browser window will be displayed with the results from Google.

And that's all, now you can multitask like a boss!
